World Sustainable Design Framework Secretariat 

The Secretariat of the WSDF acts as a vector of change in sustainable design. The Secretariat recruits strategic committee members, coordinates the development of content and leads the scientific and professional committees. It organizes events and develops key partnerships to help achieve its mission.

 

The Secretariat, in collaboration with its contributors, promotes and collates innovative sustainable initiatives to share them with its network. The Secretariat invites its community to draw attention to their challenges and the innovative nature of their initiatives. One of the Secretariat’s major aims is to raise awareness and establish knowledge sharing between the actors in order to encourage openness to professionals from all backgrounds.

 

The Secretariat and its partners believe that designers are part of the solution. They are professionals who, through their education, vision, and experience, are able to offer innovative and interdisciplinary alternatives that bring us closer to a sustainable world. In this sense, the Secretariat also acts as a facilitator organization for decisive actors outside the scope of design and development..
